I have great pleasure in welcoming you to Centre for Distance and e- Learning (CDeL),
University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The Centre which is approved by the National Universities
Commission (NUC) is a quasi autonomous unit of the university mandated by both the
Senate and the Governing Council of the University to offer distance and e-learning
programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Your decision to enroll in our
take-off programme – i.e. MBA is historic in the sense that it has qualified you to
become a pioneer or foundation learner or student of the Centre.
The programme you have enrolled in has been specially designed to suit your circumstance. It is flexible and allows you the freedom to control your own learning.

For you to succeed you must have a study plan or time-table that will fit into your existing schedule of activities.
The course materials were authored by same lecturers who teach the courses in the face-to-face or traditional mode. They were crafted in easy-to-understand and conversational language with those features that make them learner-friendly. You can access the content of these course materials in three different formats – hard copy/pdf, online via the Learning Management System (LMS) and multi-media device. There is no doubt that with these enriched course materials in these various formats you will have an enjoyable experience going through the programme.
